Costume Inspiration & Skincare Tips for a Masked Halloween 2020

Halloween is going to look quite different this year. With a pandemic still lurking about, we will have to be extra cautious as we costume up for festivities.

Halloween 2020 Guidelines

The CDC (Center for Disease Control) has issued some Halloween Guidelines to keep us safe this year. They recommend attending parties held outside where protective masks are worn and you can remain more than 6 feet apart from others. 

The CDC cautions that costume masks are not a substitute for a cloth mask. To be protected use a mask that, "is made of two or more layers of breathable fabric that covers the mouth and nose and doesn’t leave gaps around the face."

Wearing a costume mask over a protective cloth mask can be dangerous if the costume mask makes it hard to breathe. So consider using a Halloween-themed cloth mask.

Take Care of Your Skin

Wearing a mask all night can wreak havoc on your skin if you don't come prepared. In order to save your face from a Halloween hangover of blemishes and irritation, follow these steps:
