1 - Choose a calming essential oil to use or spice things up with a customized blend of your favorite oils. Some common essential oils for relaxation include lavender, rose, clary sage, sandalwood, bergamot, rosemary, cedarwood, and patchouli. 

2 - Put 2-3 drops of your essential oil onto the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together and hold them up to your nose. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. Hold your breath as long as is comfortable and slowly release. Repeat at least 2 more times. 

3 - Apply your essential oil mixture to your neck and chest while breathing deeply. 

Use an essential oil diffuser for long-lasting benefits. Simply put 3-5 drops of your calming essential oil in the diffuser with water and enjoy the therapeutic aromas throughout the day!

The quickest way to use essential oils for aromatherapy is by simply taking off the cap of your favorite oil and breathing in the aroma with your eyes closed. Take multiple long deep breaths for optimal relaxation.
